OUR SERVICES
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a healing technique that dates back thousands of years and is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The procedure involves stimulating specific acupuncture points on the body by the insertion of fine sterile needles into the skin. In 1997, the U.S. National Institute of Health (NIH) documented and publicized acupuncture's safety and efficacy for treating a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, pain, and anxiety.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the body's structure—mainly the spine—and its functioning. Practitioners primarily perform adjustments (manipulations) to the spine or other parts of the body with the goal of correcting alignment problems, alleviating pain, improving function, and supporting the body's natural ability to heal itself.
Internal Medicine
Internal medicine deals with the comprehensive care of both common and complex illnesses in adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Internists are physicians (MD or DO) who are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of those illnesses, which include heart, blood, kidney, joint, and digestive, respiratory, and vascular diseases. They are also trained in the essentials of primary care which incorporates disease prevention, wellness, substance abuse, and mental health.
Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine therapy is perhaps the most widely used Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment modality. Herbs are used in the treatment of illness, optimization of health, and prevention of disease. East West Medical Group houses an in-clinic herbal pharmacy which produces and packages herbal supplements for our patients.
